Kristin is currently the Head Coach of Brooklyn City F.C. youth club teams.
In Spring 2017, Kristin moved to Brooklyn to become the Assistant Women's Coach at LIU-Brooklyn, with Head Coach Eleri Earnshaw. Kristin comes to Brooklyn after spending a season as an assistant coach at the University of Cincinnati. In her lone season at Cincy, Kristin helped the Bearcats to an 11-5-4 record and 4-3-2 mark in American Athletic Conference play, advancing to the AAC quarterfinals.
Prior to Cincinnati, Kristin spent four years at Johnson State College (2012-16) where she served in multiple capacities, including women’s head coach, Assistant A.D. for Student-Athlete Development, Senior Women’s Administrator and a faculty member. Kristin's teams twice reached the quarterfinals of the NAC tournament and, in 2013, saw her team earn the NSCAA Silver Award for Team Ethics and Sportsmanship.
Prior to her time at JSC, Kristin served as a graduate assistant and teaching fellow at Springfield College. With the Pride, Cannon helped the team to the NEWMAC regular season and conference tournament titles in 2010 before winning the regular season and taking runner-up honors in 2011. The Pride also advanced to the NCAA tournament twice during her tenure and also were ranked nationally in both campaigns.
As a player, Kristin was a starting defender and midfielder Assumption College. A two-time Northeast-10 Conference finalist, she also served as a co-captain and was named the Reverend Desautels Memorial Award recipient, given annually at AC to the Premier Senior Female Student-Athlete.
Kristin also has played in a pair of semi-professional leagues. She competed in the W-League and WPSL from 2003-12. She currently holds NSCAA National and Advanced National diplomas.
Kristin also plays with the Brooklyn City F.C. 8v8 Women's team, which competes in the Gotham Soccer League.
